I was sitting
on Barton Pond, looking into the swamp - every summer there are days this
part of the pond is taken over by algae and water lilies making a paradise
for dragonflies and demselflies. When I accidentally turned my head, I saw
these cattails near the water edge. The soft fingers of the evening sun
gently touched over the tips of the leaves, illuminating their slender
bodies. Then there was music in the air. And an earthly scent. I couldn't
find any other words but simply to say "nice." Only after I took
the fifth shot, I noticed the light was no more there. The sun was gone.
And it became silent again.
