While
I was sitting at home pondering whether agent-based modeling can go beyond
interestingness to make a real contribution to theory building or generate
important insights that are convincing enough to influence policy making in
the real world, garlic mustard plants have emerged everywhere along the
river (despite all those ecological burns), and bloodroot flowers (some
still enveloped by leaves) have opened up showing their little sunny faces
in the woods. It's time to try a different lens.
